Hanging out as friends vs dating dating sites face

From the beginning of time, men have struggled to be clear with women.

As a guy, I understand that most of the confusion starts with us.

More often than not, we choose to suggest a casual-sounding hangout rather than an actual date.

If you're in my part of the world (Scandinavia) you generally don't. To me, the distinction between "date" and "hanging out" seems artificial, constructed and needlessly binary.

Of the 2,647 singles surveyed, ages 18-59, 69 percent are “at least somewhat confused about whether an outing with someone they’re interested in is a date or not.” A “one-on-one hangout,” after all, might be a date — 80 percent of respondents said they’d guess so — but it also might not be.

Chances are that when you do, both parties will be relieved.

Ask him, “Should I invite friends along, or is this a date? ” However you phrase it, the goal is to help the man define what he really wants.

Dating: If they make plans Tuesday for Friday, because in their love-struck eyes, you are worth keeping a calendar for.
